GHOSTS wins the International Calendar Competition’s “Calendar of the Year” Award:

Once again, GHOSTS has received international acclaim by winning this year’s World and National Calendar Awards. “GHOSTS, A TIME REMEMBERED - 2012" has been named the Calendar of the Year for 2012, the top prize of the calendar publishing industry’s premier competition.

GHOSTS’ two entries, photographed by Philip Makanna, also won major awards in the World and National photography categories. Among these awards are the Gold Award in Photography for “GHOSTS, A TIME REMEMBERED - 2012” and the Silver Award in Photography for “GHOSTS, THE GREAT WAR - 2012”.

The GHOSTS calendars have been independently published by GHOSTS for 33 consecutive years.

Lifetime Achievement Award

Philip Makanna was honored by The International Society for Aviation Photography when he received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual ISAP Symposium in San Diego on June 4, 2011
